Passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Arthabaska Hotel-Dieu in Victoriaville. William Pettigrew, in his 70th year, was the dear son of the late Frederick Pettigrew and the late Evelyn Rolfe and loving husband of France Breton, living in Ste-Clothilde de Horton.
He leaves to mourn his wife France Breton; his children: James (Robin Harrison), David (Barbara Hampton), Shirley (Carl Bernard); his grand children: Corey (Stephanie), Shawn (Melissa), Nicholas, Bryan, Audrey-Ann, Wyatt, Daniel, Andrew, Jessica, Melinda, Keano, Allisha, Harley, Patricia (Christopher), Stephane, Mathew, Steven (Sarah); and 5 great-grand-children: Mathys, Thomas, Kelly, Emma-Rose, and Liam. He is also survived by his sister Barbara (Pierre Lambert) and his brother Norman (Carol True); his in-laws: Wesley and Pauline Breton; brother-in laws and sister-in-laws: the late Lise, Jean nette, Gaétan (Nicole), Linda (Alain), Danielle (André), Luc (Bernadette), Marc (Rachel), Christiane (Marcel), Jean (Marcel), Pierre, Éliane, many friends and relatives.
The family will receive condolences from family and friends at Steve Elkas Complex , 4230 Bertrand Fabi St. Sherbrooke on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. followed by a short service in the parlor. The interment will be at the St-Michael Cemetery in Sherbrooke.
The family wishes to express deepest gratitude and thanks to the caregivers of the Hôpital Ste-Croix, de Hôtel-Dieu Arthabaska and of the CHUS Fleurimont. Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, 3330 King West, Room 130, Sherbrooke, Qc, J1L 1C9 will be appreciate by the family.

À Victoriaville, le 24 août 2017, à l’âge de 69 ans, est décédé M. William Pettigrew, époux de France Breton, demeurant à Ste-Clotilde de Horton.
La famille vous accueillera au Complexe funéraire Steve L. Elkas Inc., 4230, rue Bertrand-Fabi, Sherbrooke, le mardi 29 août de 14 h à 16 h et de 19 h à 21 h et mercredi de 9 h jusqu’à 10 h 30. Suivra une célébration et de là au Cimetière St-Michel de Sherbrooke.
Outre son épouse, M. Pettigrew laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : James (Robin Harrison), David (Barbara Hampton) et Shirley (Carl Bernard); ses petits-enfants : Corey (Stephanie), Shawn (Melissa), Nicholas, Bryan, Audrey-Ann, Wyatt, Daniel, Andrew, Jessica, Melinda, Keano, Allisha, Harley, Patricia (Christopher), Stephane, Mathew et Steven (Sarah); ses arrière-petits-enfants : Mathys, Thomas, Kelly, Emma-Rose et Liam; son frère et sa soeur : Barbara (Pierre Lambert) et Norman (Carol True); ses-beau-parents : Wesley et Pauline Breton; ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs : feu Lise, Jeannette, Gaétan (Nicole), Linda (Alain), Danielle (André), Luc (Bernadette), Marc (Rachel), Christiane (Marcel), Jean (Marcel), Pierre et Éliane, de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.
La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’Hôpital Ste-Croix, de l’Hôtel-Dieu d’Arthabaska et du CHUS Fleurimont pour les excellents soins prodigués à M. Pettigrew.
