It is with heavy hearts—and more than a few chuckles—that we mourn the passing of Fred, who left us on December 27, 2024, at the age of 88. True to form, he went out as he lived: surrounded by family, friends, love, and laughter. Predeceased by his beloved Christine, Fred will be lovingly remembered by Nancy (Peter), Scott (Shanna), Zachary (Taylor), Skyler, Everly, and Shelby.
Fred was a man who embraced life with a twinkle in his eye and a witty remark always at the ready. Whether cracking a joke, spinning a tale, or offering his signature “Fred-isms,” he had an uncanny ability to make everyone smile. Though he has left us, his legacy of laughter and love will carry on through the many stories we will continue to share.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hôtel-Dieu for their exceptional care and kindness during Fred’s final days.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Fred was a very smart man from building projects to playing cribbage we visited him everyday in the hospital,he would tell jokes and keep the nurses on there toes. What bothers me most is the fact that Fred would be a member of the Army Navy Air Force 58;years as a member at ( The Hut maybe) 3 or 4 membersThe Hut ) of all the members at The Hut maybe 3 or 4 showed up to say farewell to Fred.Seems to me a lot more people new Fred.HE talked about how the Hut supports there members. May you rest in Peace Fred maybe you will get a few games in with Dale another avid player.
