It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Georges Louis (Adams) Valois on October 15, 2017, at the age of eighty-eight years. Georges passed away peacefully after a brief illness at CHUS Fleurimont. Georges is predeceased by his wife Corinne Valois (nee Withenshaw) and survived by his sons Marc (Tanya), Michel (Martha), and Andre (Sharon) and many grand-children and great-grandchildren.
Up to the time of his illness, Georges lived independently at his home in North Hatley, QC, with support from family, friends, and the wonderful staff at CLSC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GLV education fund, to be set up at McGill University’s Faculty of Science. A memorial service will be planned for a future time when we can bring together family and close friends to share stories and remember Georges.
