GEORGE HAVILAND ENG. BISHOP

SHERBROOKE (LENNOXVILLE), 12 November 2012

George passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont in the presence of the Lord with family and friends by his side. He was predeceased by his loving wife Jeannine(Jean) Langlois. Left to mourn are his children Greg(Donna), Julie(Stuart), grand daughter Chelsea, sisters Beverly(Jack), Joyce (John) as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.
George was a devoted and respected career funeral director and co-owner of R.L. Bishop and Son Funeral Homes and Cass Funeral Homes. An alumni of Stanstead College , George was a member of the Sherbrooke Ride and Drive Club, Compton County Fish & Game Club, Sherbrooke Curling Club, Life member of Victoria Lodge 16 and Past President of the Sherbrooke Y’s Men’s Club. His family would like to thank Lennoxville Community Aid and North Hatley Meals on Wheels as well as the CLSC (Lennoxville & Magog) for their wonderful support as well as the staff at the CHUS Fleurimont for the incredible care he received.
Family and friends will meet on Friday November 16, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at St-Georges Anglican Church (84 Queen St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville)). Funeral service will be held at St-George’s Anglican Church on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 11:00AM, the Ven. Dean E. Ross officiating. Interment at the St-Peter’s Cemetery, Sherbrooke. Please note that there will be no visitation on the day of the funeral.
