DR GABRIEL LUCIEN ROY

Coaticook, February 15, 2024

1938-2024

At the Coaticook CHSLD, on February 15 , 2024, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully Gabriel L. Roy of Hatley Township (native of Otterburne, MB). He was the husband of Raymonde L. Brémaud and the son of the late Emile Roy and the late Thérèse Gagné.

He leaves to mourn his children: Ghislain Roy, Damien C. Roy as well as his daughters – Gabrielle, Emilia and Adele – and Bianca L. Brémaud (Bleddyn Thomas) as well as their children – Iolo and Maïa – from Wales, U.K.

Gabriel was the brother of the late Sr. Marie-Luce, m.o., Pierre (late Dolores Gushlak), Paul (late Jeannette Piché), the late Joseph (Diane Bellefeuille), Alma (Ken Basaraba) and Alice (late Gerry Crouse). He also leaves to mourn many nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members, friends and former work colleagues at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada research and development centre (in Lennoxville).

The family will receive condolences Saturday March 16 2024 at 10 a.m. at Ste-Élisabeth de Hongrie church, 3115 Capelton Road, North Hatley, QC J0B 2C0. The funeral will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Burial of the ashes will take place at a later date at the North Hatley cemetery.

The family wishes to thank all the personnel at the Coaticook CHSLD for the care provided.
