JOHN-ROSS FORRESTER
NORTH-HATLEY, 4 March 2014
“I do not fear to tread the road I cannot see,
because the hand of One-who-loves is leading me.” Negata.
Peacefully and possessing faith in his eternal resting, Ross passed away on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Ross is now at peace with his loving wife, Joan (Haig) Forrester, who predeceased him in 2011. Ross was a fine man, he was a loving husband, a patient father and a good friend to many.
Ross leaves behind his beloved son Darren (Mary); his cherished grand-children Emma and William; his caring brother-in-law Ross Haig and many family and friends from across Canada and in England.
A private memorial service and burial will take place in the Summer of 2014, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life. Several Masses have been dedicated to Ross already and Darren was with his father for a personal Mass on March 12th .
Ross received and cherished the love and prayers of all his family and friends. He is grateful for the friendship of Shirley Dean and he sincerely appreciated the kindness of Brian Patterson and Flip Dawson; the words of inspiration from Mrs. Mimi Pollock and the care of all, at the Connaught Home in North Hatley. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Connaught Home are most welcomed, via: Dr. W.J. Klinck Foundation – c/o Massawippi Christian Retirement Homes – 1501 rue Campbell, Sherbrooke, Qc.
