Madison Trent Bowen          (   1958 – 2024  )

 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Madison Trent Bowen, at the age of 65, after more than a year long battle with a brain tumor. He went peacefully and surrounded by family on August 8, 2024 in the palliative care unit at the Magog Hospital.

He leaves to mourn his wife of over 40 years, Joanne Comeau and their children Joshua (Mona), Matthew (Shanda), Daniel and Hannah (Dillon); his beloved grand-children Abigail, Elijah, Amelia and two grand-babies to be. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Phillip (Marion), Marnie, Lanny (Kathy), Ellie (Jimmy) and Morgan; as well as his mother-in-law Barbara Comeau, his brother-in-law Rick (Meredith), and his many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbors. He is predeceased by his sister Rena (René), his parents Beaven Bowen and Vonda Hamm, and his father-in-law Wesley Comeau.

Family and friends will meet at the Steve L. Elkas Complex, 4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street, Sherbrooke, QC on Friday August 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday August 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  A Funeral Service will be held, in the complex chapel, at 11:00 AM followed by the burial at the St-James Cemetery, Hatley, QC.
