Mrs Céline Gagnon Peak

1932 – 2024

It is with a very sad heart that we inform you of the passing of Mrs Céline Gagnon Peak on February 4 2024, in Sherbrooke, at the age of 91.

Predeceased by her husband David Peak, she is survived by her daughter Joanne, her son Danny (Kim Lemire) and her grandchildren Mackenzie and Christopher.

She is also survived by her brothers, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Germain (Christiane Goulet), Michel (Agathe Dionne) and Richard (Pierret Boyer). She was also the sister of the late Bernard (Lise Dumas), the late Denyse (the late Maurice McGee), the late Florent (Francine Robert), the late Marc (Renée Olivier), the late Hélène (the late Dr Pierre Bertrand), the late Jean, the late Luc and late René (Diane Guillette).

She will also be missed by several nephews, nieces, cousins and precious friends.

The family would like to thank the geriatrics team at CHSLD Argyll 3e for the attention and beneficial care provided to our mother.

The family will be present at the Steve L. Elkas funeral home (4230, rue Bertrand Fabi, Sherbrooke) on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to receive the condolences of relatives and friends. A ceremony will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the same location.

Any expressions of sympathy can result in donations to the Alzheimer Society of Estrie. alzheimerestrie.com. The ashes will be placed at the St-Michel Cemetery in Sherbrooke at a later date.
