Mrs Lucille Belanger Murray

Mrs Lucille Belanger Murray ( 1939  —  2024 )

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Lucille Murray, born Bélanger, residing in Sherbrooke, at the age of 85. She was the wife of Mr. Peter Murray and the daughter of the late Mr. Donald Bélanger and the late Dame Lucienne Carrier. Besides her husband, Mrs. Bélanger Murray is survived by her daughter Kathleen Murray (Keith Hartley) and her son Bryan Weekes Murray; her granddaughters Sophie Murray (Alissa Quinn) and Caroline Murray (Mitchell Goring), as well as her two great-grandchildren, Griffin and Maeve.

She is also mourned by her two sisters, Pauline and Louise Bélanger, and her late brother Michel Bélanger; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: the late William Murray, the late John Campbell Murray (Monique Deacon), the late Michael, and Bernard Murray (Francine Fafard); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Steve Elkas Funeral Complex, 4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street, Sherbrooke, J1N 1X6. A celebration of her life will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m., followed by a light reception on-site before proceeding to the Saint-Michel Cemetery in Sherbrooke for the burial.  You will be able to watch the celebration live or in replay via: https://funeraweb.tv/fr/diffusions/95964
