Mrs Priscilla Sharp Simard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Priscilla, at the age of 77.  She was the wife of the late Antoni Simard.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Steve Elkas Funeral Home (601 Conseil Street, Sherbrooke). This will be followed by the religious ceremony at 12:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church (20 Gordon Street, Sherbrooke). The family willthen receive you at the Steve Elkas Funeral Complex (4230 Bertrand-Fabi Street, Sherbrooke) to render their last respects.

Mrs. Priscilla Sharp Simard is survived by her daughters Maryse (Guy Drouin) and Danielle (Denis Labrecque).  She also leaves in mourning  her 5 grandchildren: Karina (Kevin Hamel), Steven (Kelly Deshaies), Kathleen (Loïc Baraguay), Mélanie (Pier-Olivier Ouellet), and Sabrina (Brandon Dupuis); her 4 great-grandchildren: Florence, Jacob, Liam and Mathéo; her brother and sisters: the late Eric (Joan Chilvers), the late Edith (late Delbert Lane) and the late Patricia (John Lynch); her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Simard family, as well as several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

As a token of sympathy, a contribution to St. Patrick’s Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Following the exhibition there will be cremation and an intimate ceremony will be held at the Columbarium Saint-Michel Cemetery at a later date.
