BISHOP, Shirley (née Olson)- Peacefully at the Maison Aube-Lumière, on Wednesday, September 6th , 2006. Shirley Olson, in her 71st year, beloved wife of Garth Bishop, dear mother of Karen (Jim), cherished grandmother of Erika and Andy. Dear sister of Judy (Glen), predeceased by her brother Jim (Chris) and her sisters Doris (late Dick) and Colleen (Del). Dear sister-in-law of Betty-Lou (Jack) and Sheila (late Ron). Also left to mourn are many nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

Resting at the Steve L. Elkas Funeral Home, 601 Conseil Street, Sherbrooke, Quebec, tel: 819-565-1155, fax: 819-820-8872. Visitation on Friday, September 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Please note: There will be no visitation at the funeral home on day of the funeral. Family will receive condolences at the church on Saturday September 9th from 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held in St-Peter’s Anglican Church, Sherbrooke (Qc) on Saturday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Patricia Peacock officiating. Interment in the St-Peter’s Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff of the C.H.U.S. Hôtel-Dieu, Palliative Care and of the Maison Aube-Lumière for all the wonderful care given to Mrs. Olson Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Aube-Lumière, 220, Kennedy North, Sherbrooke, Qc, J1E 2E7 would be greatly appreciated.
